Sony’s innovative fireworks

Reading the weblog of Adobe’s John Nack, I noticed a link to the
Sony Bravia Colour Add. This is a fantastic demonstration of innovative use of colour. Very different and yet similar to fireworks.

The commercial is filmed in Glasgow and a lot of material on the project and background is available in the wild.

I am always impressed how many resources are required to come up with a nice clip – this one was filmed in only 10 days but involved 250 people… not to mention the army of cleaners
that must have been engaged after the event.

There is probably more, here is what I found after 60 seconds “research”:

  1. There are no cleaners the flats sat there for a year ,multicoloured.Then they were knocked to pieces.
